The girder of steel truss cable-stayed bridge composed of orthotropic slab and thesteel truss. Because of steel truss girder suitable for double deck and with a largebending rigidity, steel truss girder is extensively used in large-span highway andlight-railway cable-stayed bridge. At the present time, there are only a few referencesabout steel truss cable-stayed bridge and the research of this structure is limited, so thepeople did not distinct understand the force characteristics of steel truss cable-stayedbridge. Especially, thermal difference effect on steel truss girder, the stress anddeformation of floor which combine with orthotropic slab and the steel truss is not clean.The paper researched on these issues, by static simulation analysis on construction stageand operation stage, work out mechanical characteristics of steel truss cable-stayedbridge.Based on the engineering background of Jiangjin Fenfangwan Bridge, establish thefinite element model of the full-bridge by Midas Civil. Static analysis of steel trusscable-stayed bridge includes cable force optimization, construction stage analysis andoperation stage analysis, understand mechanical characteristics, deformationcharacteristics and safe performance of bridge.On this basis, partial analysis of combining site of orthotropic slab and the steeltruss and cable-girder anchorage zone, establish the finite element model by ANSYS,investigated the stress distribution of bridge components, strengthen the mechanicalcharacteristics understanding of steel truss cable-stayed bridge.The paper researched on thermal difference effect between orthotropic slab and thesteel truss of steel truss cable-stayed bridge, compare with stress and deformation ofcombining site of orthotropic slab and the steel truss in different temperature, found theinfluence of structure on thermal difference effect and proposes the solutions.
