In highway reconstruction projects, there is inevitably uncoordinated deformationfor subgrade widening, which is the root of disease in highway reconstruction projects.So, it is the critical to reduce uncoordinated deformation for the subgrade wideningtechnology in highway reconstruction projects. Highway reconstruction projects inmountain area are different from freeway reconstruction projects in plain area. Highwayreconstruction projects in mountain area have owns many features. They are wideningthe width thin, to pographical restrictions, and high fill of roadbed. Meanwhile, there areunfavorable geological appearances for highway in mountain area, e.g. landslidecollapse, karsts cave, etc. According to the features of highway reconstruction projectsin mountain area, whose the main engineering disease, adopted the methods of finiteelement numerical analysis, and with a reconstruction example, to do the followingresearches concretely:â‘ According to the characteristics and the causes of the mountainous areahighway settlement, it obtains the form of coordinated settlement deformation for Newand old subgrade in mountain area. Based on the form, it establishes the finite elementnumerical analysis, and analysis the mechanism and the basic characteristics of thewidening subgrade coordinated settlement deformation in mountain area.â‘¡Studied on the characteristic of engineering situation in different width broadenand widening mode, different filling height and the different modules of new subgrade.At same time, based on mountainous terrain, it explores the uncoordinated settlementdifference between the flat area and the slope area in mountain.â‘¢On the basis of failure mechanism of joint of old and new subgrade, thetreatment measures of the joint and the effect of improvement are studied. The resultsfind out that the old subgrade sideslips with benches, improving compactness and thegeosynthetics reinforcement are valid for reducing the differential settlement betweenold and new embankment. Meanwhile, the nature of the new subgrade filling has certaineffect on the coordinated settlement for New and old embankment.â‘£Combining with the examples of highway reconstruction projects, and the former theory ofhighway widening subgrade, it takes the measure of pressure grouting for Maan reservoir road.Through the monitoring results and analyzing, the pressure grouting reinforcement has a good effect,which provides the reference for similar projects.
