The simulation of the land and sea clutter is an important part in radar systemsimulation in the case of look-down mode. It is urgent need for radar simulation tosimulate clutter quickly and real-time. The study on simulation of radar clutter can beapplied in the design of radar system, optimizing of algorithm for signal processing andmany other aspects.With a view to engineering application, A in-depth study about the simulationalgorithm of radar clutter is done in this paper. Firstly, the dissertation analyzed the landand sea clutter signal’s properties, the basic concepts and theories of clutter is described.Then, the principles and methods of clutter’s simulation are introduced and analyzed,the methods of clutter’ simulation is derived and simulated on the base of griddingmapping format method, this algorithm is verified at the same time. Finally, accordingto fast requirements of the actual clutter’s simulation project, the research on fastalgorithm is done by quantization and storage of antenna gain, quantization and storageof prestoring the area unit, quantization and storage of clutter area and many otheraspects. Using this fast algorithm of clutter simulation the speed of simulation isimproved greatly, which is useful for engineering applications. |
