High speed railway technology is one of the great achievements in the modern world. High Speed Railway Bridge occupies big proportion in the high speed railway fields and has more viaducts as well.This thesis, taking Cha River Grand Bridge, which lies between Changsha and Kunming railway line section, as an example, puts forward four kinds of bridge schemes including Prestressing Rigid Frames Bridge, Tied Arch Spans Prestressing Rigid Frames Bridge, Reinforced Concrete Arch Bridge and Gable Bridge. It uses masses of successful experiences from external and internal high speed railway bridges for reference and comparatively analyses five aspects including structure security and running comfort, project cost economy and rationality, construction technology advancement and feasibility, post running service and conservation, as well as bridge sight harmony and beauty. Finally, it concludes the best bridge scheme by adopting the analytic hierarchy process in operational research theory. And the best bridge scheme is analysised by structural static and dynamic methord.
