With the development of modernization, China will need more andmore elevators and the elevators manufacture become more important.As a complicated system, elevator involves mechanical electric andcybernetic technologies. The guide rail, which acts the main sourceexciting lateral vibration of cabin, is a key Part of an elevator. Manyelements have great effects on the safety and comfort of elevators,among which the vibration factor is particularly significant. Theperformances of elevator, such as safety, comfort and speed, aredetermined by the quality of the guide rails in large degree. Therefore,the examination of guide rails has an important position in the installationadjustment, performance cheek as well as maintenance of elevators.At present, the elevator guide rails straightness measurement methodcan be divided into two kinds: one is traditional measurement methodwhich is based on the measuring platform, ruler, heavy hammer line andsimple tool, although simple in testing apparatus and adopted widely, areof certain limitation, low efficiency, and can’t guarantee the performance.The other measurement method is modern measuring method, whichuse laser alignment technology and sensor technology. The directional oflaser is good and the light energy is strong, but laser alignment technologyis influenced by many factors in the atmosphere and the accuracy is nothigh, in addition some other modern measuring instruments cannot bewidely used because of high value.So this topic studied the guide straightness measurement as theresearch object. We used multiple-probe scanning method to design anddevelop a set of elevator guide rail straightness detection system, whichprovided a new detection method to ensure the quality, comfort and safety of elevator guide rail.This paper firstly summarized the domestic and foreign researchpresent situation of the elevator guide rail straightness measurement andthe important meaning of straightness automatic detection, then discussedseveral straightness detection selected methods and straightness error valueevaluation methods, determined the suitable straightness detection selectedmethod and error value evaluation method for this system, and put forwardthe six-probes scanning method and the whole detection project.Secondly, this paper provided the six-probes scanning algorithmsimulation and the effectiveness of the six-probes scanning measurementmethod was also confirmed. According to the measuring specificrequirements of the enterprise, combined with the characteristics ofelevator guide rail straightness measurement system, the hardware andsoftware of this system was studied and the guide rail straightnessautomatic detection system platform was also constructed, including themechanical design and measurement and control design; We usedOMRON laser displacement sensors and multi-function data acquisitioncard, the I/O controller, linear motor, photoelectric trigger switchequipment, combined with PC technology, sensor technology, dataprocessing technology to develop the rail straightness automaticmeasurement system.Finally, the stability, repeatability, contrast experiment were provided,and the measuring results confirmed the reliability of the measurementsystem. On the other hand, this paper also analyzed the system deficiencyand put forward some improvement measures.
