With crisis of global energy and intensification of environmental pollution, countriesin the world are actively searching for sustainable and new energy. Wind power generationhas now become the global first choice for the development of new energy and renewablegreen energy because of its cleanness, no pollution, short building period and low runningcost. The doubly-fed wind power generator has become the main model of the large-scalewind turbines because of its small size, light weight, small capacity required for converterand high quality of the power supply in the high-power wind turbines.With the policy support from our government and the marketing requirement fromChina market.MW wind turbine technology developed fast and was applied to real projectswidely in China. The kernel technology of3.6MW doubly-fed induction generator hasbeen basically held by foreign monopoly before, domestic manufacturers have to pay hugecost and the deveiopment is tied up by others in the critical parts. So its performances,efficiency and reliability of doubly-fed generator directly determine entire wind powersystem.The difference on the analysis of the doubly-fed wind power generator between thispaper and others is that it analyzes the study-state of the generator on the base of itsequivalent circuit. Describe the fundamental operational principles of double-fed generator and disserts power relations and the energy flow of the doubly-fed Wind generators.Thesecond, the design characteristics and the electromagnetic design methods of doubly-Fedwind generators are discussed. Combining with electromagnetic design software and ourcompany experience in producing motor, we have designed the3.6MW DFIG of ourselves.Because the doubly-fed wind power generator uses special design method inelectromagnetism, structure, cooling, etc, we can choose higher developing parameter. Weuse a prototype of3.6MW DFIG which its cooling mode is air-to-water as an example. Wethought much about consumers’ requests and humanism requirements in the structure ofthe generator, detailed introduction about the point of electromagnetism and mechanismstructure design of the3.6MW double-Fed Wind generators is shown in this text, Andintroduced the coils piling and assembling,the choice of the slip ring structure,and also toresearch and analyze theory about the cooling system of generator, strength calculation ofthe shaft and the calculation of the critical speed of generator, We have contrasted thedifferences between experiment data and design data. According the requirement of marketpresent, we have done some analysis about market prospect in the future. |
