With the rise of building fire frequency, it threatens the safety of life andproperty of human, more and more countries take the fire reappearance andsafety assessment of building after fire seriously. Now, the traditional way‘experience、technique and analysis’ is used in our country, repeatedexperiments should be taken resulting in high cost and long period. Sorealizing fire reappearance and safety assessment of building after fire bynumerical simulation is an important tendency.First, math modeling based on fire-thermal-structure coupling isstudied. Fire-thermal-structure math modeling is set up in this paper; largeeddy simulation is used into fire simulation and calculation. Therelationship between fire、thermal and structure is studied. Fire numericalsimulation system is formed by theoretical formula and experience formula.Simultaneously, temperature change at different time and location isstudied based on law of conservation of energy, the time and location islimited by heat release rate and thermal radiation model. The stainaffected by temperature is also studied by formula derivation.Second, based on the method and system of fire-thermal-structure, anfire example happened in shanghai is studied in this paper, the method andsystem is used in this example. On the basis of scene survey, temperaturefield、fire spread situation and the trend of smoke and gas are studied aboutthis fire example. Based on the temperature field, thermal-structurecoupling is studied; deformation and stress value is also studied.Finally, the building damage of laundry fire accident is assessed,identified and handled by the result of numerical simulation. On the basisof assessment criteria, the building still can be used if it is safe; it just need some repair, or we cannot continue to use it.
