The structure of integrity grassroots cement stable macadam of primary is the mainstructure of China’s highway. Due to the paving thickness limit, the multi-layered paved wayis used in actual. The research results show that: The layered paving damaged the integrity ofcement stable macadam and the longitudinal continuity of base structure. Except that, theexistence of the construction interval of exacerbated the adverse effects on the performance ofgrass-roots structure. Therefore, the test studied the longitudinal continuity and adverseconditions in the interlayer on the performance of grass-roots road, as well asthe adverseeffect of improving the above factors to the primary structure.Studies have shown that: the unfavorable state of the thick layer hasasignificantimpacton the integrated useperformance ofcement stabilized macadam. Under theinfluence of the unfavorable state between the layers, the comprehensivepavementperformance of grass-roots attenuated about thirty percent. And thefatigue life of basestructure dropped significantly. The comprehensive pavement performance of grass-rootsattenuated nearly forty percent under the couplingof vertical non-continuity and adverseconditions in the interlayer. The overall performance of the grass-roots level has been greatlyaffected due to longitudinal non-continuity and the existence of adverse conditions in theinterlayer, structural calculations had verified the above conclusions. Two means of differentthickness combinations and improving materialshas been used to study the improvingmeasures of longitudinal continuity and adverse conditions in the interlayer to make theresearch system more complete. Studies have shown that: the layer down treatmentmethodcould improve the grass-roots using performanceand extend the grass-roots servicelife.What’s more, this method needs no additional project cost comparedwith other treatmentmethod.This research has a high practical value on improving the using status quoof integritygrassroots and guiding the design of such grass-roots structure and follow-up study.
