Study On Adhesive Force Evaluation Of SBS Modified Asphalt

With the rapid development of highway in our country SBS modified asphalt has beenmore widely used for its excellent performance，but the effect of improvement in the usingwas not that significantly，serious damages occurred frequently in the early use of the road，such as crack，it shows that the adhesive power of SBS modified asphalt has been disabled，so finding out the effective evaluating indexes to the adhesive power of SBS modified asphaltfrom the its own character is a problem to be settled immediately.In this paper, in view of SBS modified asphalt binding power lose whose performanceconform to the standard, the evaluation indexes of SBS modified asphalt binding and itsmixture were studied based on its performance. Three different kinds of SBS modifiedasphalt has been selected and the capability of adhesive force was confirmed by the testingmethod of adhesive work and adhesive force,then research their conventional、SHRP and theother indexes. Meanwhile, selected some indexes of asphalt mixture to study. The resultsshowed that most indexes can reflect its adhesive performance. Finally, the relativity analysiswas made taking the adhesive work and adhesive force as the reference series. And accordingto the results of relativity analysis,recommend Tracking gene G*（sinδ）^-9as the asphalt indexand Splitting strength as the asphalt mixture index to reflect the adhesive performance.
