In view of the problems regarding current domestic electrically-controlledengine training platform combined with the teaching characteristics in highervocational colleges, the author studies in this paper the intelligent fault systemof electronically-controlled training platforms and electronic training bench witha view of improving the technology in platform frame design so as to enhancethe efficiency of the above-mentioned platform.Based on the analysis of various structures of electronically-controlledsystems in several kinds of engines,we came to determine the faulty operatingcharacteristics between automobile engine sensors and actuators when theengine operation is abnormal. According to the structural characteristics of theChangan Star engine,the training platform has been collectively designed andthe the refit and electronic circuit fault diagnosis terminal design completed,andtraining station control panel reproduced. The modular design idea has beenadopted in the design of the intelligent fault setting device.The use of AT89C51single-chip microcomputer to control actuates thesettings for the breaker fault control in such different operating conditions as in the ignition circuit,starting circuit, the injector circuit,oil pump circuit,mainrelay circuit,idle speed control circuit,etc. as well as in the sensor signal faultsetting. The design of AT89C51decoder,MCU, LCD and the control ofkeyboard controller circuit have been completed. Using C languagedevelopment environment, the failure setting module software has beendeveloped. Through the idle speed test, accelerated test, starting test, rawmachine test and fault setting test of the electrically-controlled engine trainingplatform,the feasibility of fault intelligent design has been verified and thedesign target achieved.
