Winter road snow ice would seriously endanger road traffic safety, how to effectively solve this problem become the focus of attention of the road management departments and the national road workers. Asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt, is a new pavement materials, mixed with powder or granular chloride into a mixture to actively melt snow and ice, under the action of the vehicle rolling and capillary pressure, salt precipitation can reduce the road surface freezing point, delay the road snow icing, therefore can obviously improve the pavement skid resistance. This article system researches the mix proportion design of asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt, conventional road performance, the melting of snow and ice performance evaluation and adaptation climate zoning.Based on the study of ordinary asphalt mixture design, make the granular salt represented by V-260directly mixed with a mixture, alternate the ore with powdered salt represented by the MFL directly added to the mixture, by controlling the key target rate of gap, determined the final mixture of asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt; raised needing attention of damp-proof in the design of the mixture, then should control the test temperature and the order of addition in the design process. The result of water stability, high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance and Kenta flying show that these properties of asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt meet the requirements. Based on the minimum temperature of solution of salt, with snowfall provides, through the test specimen surface melting of different snowfall intensity within a certain time, determine the melting rate of asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt, is used to evaluate their short-term thawing snow and ice performance. Proposed natural soaking and accelerating immersion test for asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt, according to the amount of precipitation of the chloride active ingredients to evaluate the long-term snowmelt performance, developed a test devices by simulated rainfall evaluating long-term snowmelt performance of chloride snowmelt pavement, systematically analysed the effect of rainfall on the chloride precipitation, considering various factors comprehensively, fitting the regression model of long-term snowmelt performance of asphalt mixture with snowmelt salt. Analysis of relationship between atmospheric and pavement temperature, on the basis of the climate zones of China’s asphalt and bitumen mixture, presenting climatic zone of snowmelt asphalt pavement, and on this basis to guide the application of chloride snowmelt asphalt mixture. |
