In order to lower the effect of snow damage to transportation, govemments usually use alarge number of snowmelt agent, insuring the road unobstructed and reducing trafficaccident.However, the snowmelt agent brings about a lots negative effect in the meantime,polluting environment,destroying way,for example.Through the change of asphalt、stone and asphalt mixtures’ property which are soaking inthe different snowmelt agent, study the effect of snowmelt agent for pavement. Firstly, put theasphalt in NaCl、 GaCl2and NaOAc solution severally, employ static corrosion anddevelopments corrosion, through the change of asphalt index, get the effect of snowmelt agenton the asphalt. Secondly, corrod stone in the different snowmelt agent solution for freeze-thawcycles time after time, meter the Coarse aggregate abrasiveness、Crushing index and theadhesion stone value in the different freeze-thaw cycles, get the effect of snowmelt agent onthe stone. At last, corrod the asphalt mixtures in the different snowmelt agent solution forfreeze-thaw time after time, meter the freeze-thaw ripping、the dynamic stability and theinflect strainof subzero test of asphalt mixtures, get the effect of snowmelt agent on asphaltmixtures.Replace part of mineral filler with the same quality inorganic binder to reduce thenegative effect of snowmelt agent, get the way improving property of asphalt mixtures.The result show that the property of asphalt、stone and asphalt mixtures are all changedafter corroded by snowmelt agent. The serious damage for pavement is effected by NaCl,second is GaCl2and least is NaOAc at no load. The serious damage is effected by NaC andNaOAc at the change load. Adding part of inorganic binder can reduce the negative effect ofsnowmelt agent on pavement.
