This thesis mainly designs a Train Communication Network(TCN) Real-Time Protocol stack(RTP) conforming to the IEC61375-1international standard based on the research of TCN structure. RTP stack, which supports a three-level hierarchy, provides communication between applications within vehicles and between vehicles. Moreover, it reserves expansion interfaces for multi-bus system.This paper is based on "IEC61375-1:2007real-time protocol development" project, which has realized the variable and message services which are defined in RTP, including interfaces of application layer and link layer, as well as function of other layers in message protocol. In particular, this project provides a new network layer routing algorithm for three-level hierarchy, and puts forwards a new method which automatically cancels a session over the train bus by variable services if an inauguration takes place.Firstly, this thesis analyzes MVB protocol, WTB protocol, RTP of TCN international standard IEC61375-1. Secondly, it introduces the general design thought of prosess data and message data communicaiton, and then makes research on the key technology of each function modules. The last part is the module integration and system practical test.By now, this project we described above has brought into operation upon TCN system platform with four gateway modules. It actualizes the access to port dataset and variable, unicast communication wihin vehicle and between deffierent vehicles(support system addressing and function addressing), multicast communication (only support function addressing). The functionality and performance of this embedded RTP stack has reached the design requirement and can be well applied to specific engineering projects.
