With the development of highway in mountain areas, more and more highway tunnelsare built. There is a late start of highway tunnel in our country, but with the largeinvestment in high level highway, there is a huge increase about quality and quantity ofhighway tunnel instruction. The construction monitoring is the key factor which cangreatly affected the security of the tunnel construction. Therefore, the study on theconstruction monitoring and stability analysis of surrounding rock of highway tunnel hastheoretical and practical signification.The rock stability is studied by the monitoring and analysis of tunnel deformationthough Shangguan Tunnel Monitoring Project of Hang-Rui Expressway. The monitoringscheme which has strong applicability is designed according to relevant code, whichprovided effective guidance for the field monitoring.This article focuses on rock deformation effect of time and space effects on themonitoring date for statistical analysis, summarizes Shangguan surrounding rockdeformation over time of the four forms, and for this project is based on the derivedmonitoring rock stability criterion section of the settling time and statistical analysis, inaddition, levels of different rock from the tunnel face under the roof of the settlement andits data from the statistical analysis are summarized to induct the effects of space rockdeformation Shangguan tunnel forms.Early warning mechanism of construction monitoring is inducted through thecharacterization and forms of rock deformation. It is applied to the monitoringmeasurement Shangguan tunnel process, issues29section32warnings, has successfulcompletion of forecasting and prevention any major construction accident.The construction process of Shangguan tunnel has been simulated to the entrance bythe soft of three-dimensional numerical simulation which called FLAC3D. Excavation invault settlement process changes with the time and distance with section from the workingface of the spatial effect of the entrance has been discussed. It is showed that Shangguantunnel after excavation of each section in the changes over time, and working face to move forward, vault settlement gradually increased and stabilized. In cross-section of tunnelface has not been excavated to two times the diameter of disturbance within thesurrounding rock and roof subsidence has been, and one time the diameter of the largestrange of effects. Excavation in the tunnel face, the section from the tunnel face after adistance of two points and a half times the diameter of the basic completion of thesettlement. This thesis could provide certain reference for engineering design andconstruction.
