As the high requirement increasingly of the local auto market in China and thegrow-up of auto design and development technology, interior noise has been one of themost important factors that measure vehicle performance level. For interior noise that isaffected in middle and high frequency, interior acoustic part is bringing out the importanceincreasingly.This thesis makes innovation on Six Sigma design application onto interior acousticparts development with Statistical Energy Analysis theory together. As the research objectof one domestic sale car model, we identify the subsystem and vehicle SEA model,confirm the basic parameters of subsystem with the test and simulation analysiscombination. Study the Design for Six Sigma theory and methodology, comply withprinciple of parameter design. On that basis, we submit the interior acoustic parts’optimization solutions to improve the interior noise performance. With the help ofsimulation analysis that predicts the affect on the interior noise, we can find the bestoptimization solution. Finally optimization solution is validated through the physicalvehicle test.
