Ancient site is an important part of culture and ancient history,It is seen asa social political studies,history in a period.An important carrier of culture,in thecultural relic protection and archaeological research are seriously.In recentyears,along with the development policy of large ancient relicsconservation,greatly promote the development of ancient site protectionwork,and how to promote the building better from the ancient site protectionand research,also become to the hot issue of the protection of cultural relicsagro-scientific.research.work.From.the.ancient.site.protection.perspective,wood,stone,concrete and steel structure building structure types are several isgenerally used in ancient site protection.Especially with steel structure owncomponent light,reusable,less pollution,and well catered to large ancient relicsconservation of large span and large space requirements of function,and isbecome extensive attention and application.In this paper,we show the projectsof large ancient relics protection engineering in jingzhou,hubei province as anexample,the article show more on the design of long-span space museum kind of architecture,detailed introduces the steel structure in the protection of theancient building in the specific application.Particularly for big cross,the space ofthe complex building structure shape,should not only meet the basic structure ofthe building design and construction in the protection of ancient site withspecial design requirements combined.In the scheme it should be an strictselection of the structure.Design should be solved in the middle specificallyconstructed,demands for this kind of special steel structure building structurestill is to solve the protection of cultural relics may work great impact ofwelding,lifting specific construction problems.First,contrast ancient site protection status at home and abroad,frommaterial use,this article briefly introduced the domestic ancient site protect someexisting building design ideas and methods.And through several differentstructure form the contrast of the advantages and disadvantages,and putsforward the architecture of the steel structure in such advantage.then,from the ancient site of function requirement of specialprotection,especially for the present ancient site in the protection of the structure of the required special design were introduced.The paper puts forward somestructure design in such buildings facing specific problems.Combined the jingzhou grave site CheMaKeng protection exhibition hallspecific project,to set big span,dimension in a huge characteristics of structuredesign analysis process were analyzed in this paper.Contents include:theselection of structure,space structure model building,specific analysis softwareapplication,the calculation of the parameters of the process control,local steelstructure joint structure processing,and later in the construction of technicalproblems faced and processing method,etc.At last,the paper concludes the steelstructures in ancient site protection which can be used to project experience andmethods of reference,this paper puts forward the relevant problems to be furtherdiscussed,and we hope to bring some help for this architecture design.
