Rubber asphalt not only has more excellent technical property than ordinary asphalt, andeffectively improve the road performance, but also can protect environment, save resources,which has the important practical significance to promote the sustainable development of oursocial economy and ease environmental pollution caused by the secondary disaster. Rubberasphalt mixture had been widely used in the United States, Sweden, Canada, Belgium, France,South Africa, Austria, Australia and India, while in China, the rubber asphalt mixture by thegradation and construction technological parameter is still in the exploration stage.Stands on the topic of technology research that application about rubber asphalt inXi’an-Tongchuan expressway pavement, then draw lessons from domestic and internationalresearch results, in the light of Shaanxi province climate environment and technicalperformance of raw materials, based on the processing technology and technical performanceof mortar composed by rubber asphalt and mineral powder, so as to do the research ofrubber asphalt mixture ratio design.Through three gradation rubber asphalt mixture mixdesign and road performance comparison of rubber asphalt mixture about discontinuousgradation, continuous gradation and American gradation use two kinds of asphalt rubber, putforward technical requirements recommended value of the three kinds of gradation, therebyoptimization the rubber asphalt mixture ratio design.The research show that: Two kinds of rubber asphalt made by20order and40orderrubber have small influence on volume index of asphalt mixture;40heads of rubber asphalthas better technical performance than20head rubber asphalt in nature;For the three kinds ofgradation, all experimental results showed the40heads of rubber asphalt mixture has bettertechnology performance than20head rubber asphalt mixture; Gap-graded rubber asphaltmixture has more excellent high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance thancontinuous gradation and American gradation, but water stability slightly lower.This thesis selects the discontinuous gradation as typical gradation in parameter study ofmix ratio design, through the transformation of key sieve through rates, asphalt-aggregateratio, type and dosage of admixture, then observe and analyze it’s influence to hightemperature stability, low temperature crack resistance and water stability performance ofrubber asphalt mixture.Research the rubber asphalt pavement technology through the two portion of entityengineering, test pavement performance of different technologies, and analyze measuringresults, finally put forward the design method of asphalt rubber pavement and paving process.
