During the early part of the decade, the concrete filled steel tube arch bridge haveachieved rapidly development in our country, which has met the international advanced leveldemand. It purse such advantages as high carrying capacity, upstanding plasticity, toughnessand seismic performance, easy construction, good fire-resistant and corrosion resistance, aswell as better economic effect. As you can see, the concrete filled steel tube arch bridge hasbeen more and more widely used in bridge construction. With the increasing span and thesofter stiffness in bridge structure, CFST arch bridge as a pressure-based structure, whatstability issues will become one of the key factors to affect it development.This article describes the stability theory research to tied bars arch bridge, and inconnection with its characteristics to the concrete filled steel tube structure, the paperconducts more in-depth research on the structure of the material nonlinearity and geometricnonlinear problems. Throng the understanding and judgment of tied arch buckling andinstability problems, linking our country’s specification requirements, it summarizes the basiccalculation method of the stability and three kinds of the commonly used means: balancemethod, energy method and vibration method.Take the actual project as an example, the finite element analysis software in the detailedanalysis and judge the overall stability of the CFST tied arch bridge in the bridge stageconditions, drawing the buckling modes and stability safety factor in the various conditions,discussing the stability problems faced by the large span steel pipe concrete tied arch bridgestate, investigating the key factors to the stability of the concrete filled steel tube tied archbridge, finally it will come to draw some conclusions. In This article, the different bridge floorstructure in the completion of the bridge, it will depend on prefabricated bridge panel set upalone in the beam, bridge panel whole pouring and bridge panel and beams together into onewhole casting, by changing the cross struts, associated with the transverse stability in thedifferent bridge superstructure construction under the condition of CFST arch bridge.On the basis of research achievements about the stability of the concrete filled steel tubarch bridge with tied bars at home and abroad, this paper relys on the actual project, with thefinite element analysis, drawing a conclusion which will be able to get a good application intoday’s engineering.
