The loess distributes widely in our country, it has the unique material composition andthe special shape characteristic. Many scholars have deeply researched the nature of the basicphysical mechanics, the characteristics of the distortion and intensity, unique structuralcollapse deformation characteristic deformability and constitutive property and so on.Theyalso used these in the actual project, and has made the remarkable achievements. Based on theresults of the reference research, K0consolidation tests of the saturated and remolded loess inXi’an(3d=1.5g/cm) under continuous loading with different rates are carried out ongeotechnical digital systems (GDS) tri-axial apparatus. The stress-strain relationship behavior, the variation of coefficient K0, the variation of pore water pressure and the changes ofhydraulic conductivity when the saturated loess under different loading rates have beenanalyzed.Through the analysis of test results, the following conclusions can be drawn: thestress-strain relationship curve of the saturated loess has obvious nonlinear features andmostly stable and hardening. Loading rates have certain effect on the variation of the earthpressure coefficient, compressive modulus, pore water pressure and hydraulic conductivity.Using the varying parameters method, the model of strain-loading rates-time relation withremolded saturated loess in loading stage and pore pressure dissipation phase of K0consolidation process was deduced. Through the comparison of calculated and measuredvalues, the formula is reasonable. In addition, parameters of Modified Cambridge model canbe gotten from the general tri-axial test and isotropic tri-axial test. Through the comparison ofcalculated values with measured ones, the rationality of the model is testified.
