The Design Based On The Adaptation And Renovation Of Feng Shui Cultural Terrain

Based on the method of intuitive and comprehensive judgment, this paper groups multitudinous amazing phenomena of cultural terrain into six categories and makes thorough research of the feng shui type. Summarizing the paradigm of feng shui ideal spatial patterns and its common deformation, this paper also investigates the effects of the paradigm on controlling and renovating the urban pattern. By summarizing the measures of the feng shui type cultural terrain on modern planning and design, it obtains three enlightenments for design:symbolic form,connotation with mood and rational thinking. It suggets we should combine the terrain and the culture well, and make adaptation and renovation for the urban pattern of Songjiaping, Xunyang, according to the this mode.
