Research On Flameproof EPS System

In the coal mining process, because the cause of the problem, cause downhole working facefan doesn’t work, then cause of gas accident. According to this, this paper designed a kind of thestorage battery through the inverter device generation alternating current (ac) for spare fan usedEPS emergency power, in order to ensure mine excavating face when current start spare fan,reduce coal mine gas accident for the safety in production hidden danger.In order to improve the performance of the battery, extend battery life, in view of theimbalance of the battery in use and charging exist in the process,over-voltage/over-current/thermal, fault, this topic research and development is the batteryprotection management system.In this paper, the selection of the battery and battery optimization selection; Based on theMAX11068and DS18B20chip, design the measuring precision higher cell voltage testing unitand temperature measuring unit; Based on single-chip microcomputer and PLC batteryprotection management system design. Protection system are mainly measuring unit andbalanced discharge unit and single chip microcomputer system. Single chip microcomputersystem and the measuring unit communication, realizes to the batteryvoltage/current/temperature protection, balanced charge and discharge management, batterystatus detection, fault alarm functions. Single chip microcomputer to produce a variety ofinformation to PLC, then realize the completion of protection operation, at the same time,through the PLC control function complete battery charging mode control. Complete EPS systembattery protection management system performance test test. Test shows that the batteryprotection management system can enhance flameproof EPS system’s stability, reliability andimprove the battery life.The experimental result indicates that the EPS emergency power supply could be applied incoal mining emergency ventilation, reduce for gas accident safety in production hidden danger.
