Long-span Bridges, especially the already built huge cable-stayed bridge, itshealth operation is directly related to the people’s life and property security. Theimportant parameters information of each place of cable-stayed bridge can be got intime through the health monitoring system, Finally realize the evaluation work of thestate of the bridge after analyzing and treating with the monitoring information, butthe collected data pretreatment is effective or not, the rationality of the evaluationmethod directly influence the accurate assessment of the bridge state resultsobtained. Therefore, condition assessment methods for cable-stayed bridge based onhealth monitoring system have the important practical significance.This paper take the jiujiang bridge health monitoring system for background,which has normally operated more than two years, research on the methods ofevaluating the condition of cable-stayed bridge. The main research contents are asfollows:(1) Described the jiujiang bridge health monitoring system in detail. Lay theneeded foundation for the further analysis, through the research on the system sensormodule, the data acquisition and data transmission module, the data analysis andcontrol module, and the monitoring system software module.(2) Research on the health monitoring data preprocessing. The pretreatmentmethods of bulky error in monitoring data and the smoothing method for noise dataare researched, and fixed the problem of data jump method in preprocessingmonitoring data. Finally, selected the reasonable method for the conditionassessment of the cable-stayed bridge according to the characteristics of healthmonitoring data, and then got the valid data.(3) Condition assessment for concrete beams. Correlation between the stress andthe temperature which have got from the cable-stayed bridge concrete beams throughthe health monitoring system are analyzed, then got the trend equation between thetwo, and choose a reasonable safety threshold value index on the basis of eliminatetemperature stress trend, finally realize the condition assessment for cable-stayedbridge concrete beams conveniently and effectively.(4) Condition assessment for stay cables. Analysis on the time series of cableforce and the temperature which get from the cable-stayed bridge health monitoring,learned the basic state discipline of the cable force. Through the establishment model of the neural network, prediction the changes of the index of cable force indifferent temperature, provides the basis for the cable force condition assessment indifferent temperature and research on grey correlation degree analysis method whichused for the whole year cable force state evaluation of the cable-stayed bridge.
