Topology optimization mainly study the problems of optimal distribution ofmaterial in a given design space subject to support and load conditions. Based onanalysis and summarization of the relative research achievements, and taking somekey problems of topology optimization in different mechanical structure designs asthe leading clue, the paper mainly researches the basic theories, common methods,optimization algorithms, key problems and application of the topology optimizationmethod.The dissertation firstly summarizes and studies the commonly interpolationschemes, analyses the homogenization and the SIMP method, derives the topologyoptimization model based on the SIMP method, obtains the iterative schemes and theanalysis flows on the basis of the optimal criteria. According to the common stiffnessproblems in machinery design, some key problems in the existing topologyoptimization are discussed. The paper deeply analyzed the existing shortages ofsolving Lagrangian multiplier and proposed an improved Lagrangian multipliersolving method. From the theory aspect, the reason for the phenomenon of loadsickness in statics, caused by multi-load case, is analyzed and the problem is solvedthrough distributed load method. The reason for local frequency in dynamics and itsinfluence on optimization are analyzed. The local load phenomenon is effectivelyavoided by using ESO method. Arming at the problems of thermodynamics andseepage mechanics in modern structure design, research is being deeply carried out.And the relative program of the topological optimization is programmed.
