As an important part of urban transportation, buses assume a lot of passenger transport work. So buses emissions have important influence on the environment. Pure Electric Bus (PEB) which is a kind of new bus with zero discharge and low energy consumption can protect the environment and save energy. It measures up to people’s expectations.This dissertation is supported by a R&D project of some pure electric bus. It matches the dynamic parameters of PEB, simulates the dynamic quality and economy of PEB, and does a preliminary research of regenerative braking system.Firstly, according to the parameters of a conventional fuel bus and technical requirements of the design models, this dissertation re-matches the power-train system of reference model, and converts the reference model into pure electric bus. Then, analyzes the dynamic quality and economy of the new model by CRUISE V2010, and verifies the correctness of the matching. Finally, according to the analysis of the break force of vehicle, designs a regenerative braking control strategy and simulates the new model based on MATLAB.The simulator results of CRUISE show that the parameters matching of power-train system meets the design requirements. The simulator results of MATLAB show that the best feeling regenerative braking control strategy which based on I curve can increase the driving range of the electric bus effectively. The dissertation laid the foundation of the follow-up of the R&D project.
