The thesis firstly provides an overview of the development of combined truss beambridge and the research&application of concrete-filled steel tube. It also introduces thecharacteristics and development prospect of open truss combined girder bridge made fromsteel pipe concrete as well as the basic theory and general design principle of concrete filledsteel tube.The thesis is set in an engineering background, the60m through cross-dike approachbridge on the expressway Xuzhou-Mingguang. Based on the construction drawings andconstruction plants of the engineering, a finite element model of entire bridge is establishedwith beam element using MIDAS/CIVIL2010, which is a large-scale finite elementsoftware. Firstly, the static characteristic at operation stage is analyzed, and a detailedanalysis of upper structure behavior under different load conditions is presented, includingdeformation of the deck structure; Secondly, the calculation and analysis are carried out forthe vibration characteristics of the bridge. By using the response spectrum method, thestructural seismic response is calculated and analyzed. By using the time-history method,the influence of lead-rubber bearing on seismic performance of the bridge is calculated andanalyzed; Then, the stability to the bridge at construction stages and operation stage iscalculated and analyzed;Finally, according to the previous analysis results and the researchon the open truss combined girder bridge made from steel pipe concrete, conclusions aredrawn.Therefore, a comprehensive KNowledge of the static and dynamic performance of theopen truss combined girder bridge made from steel pipe concrete is acquired, and themethod of using large finite element software to calculate and analyze complex bridges isthus mastered.
