With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s livingstandard, air conditioning and refrigeration equipments are being used more and morewidely. The traditional air conditioning and refrigeration system brings many problems,such as shortage of energy, environment pollution, decline in indoor air quality and so on. Ithas become the calling of the times to research and develop a new air conditoning system,which not only consumes less energy, but also can provide healthy comfortable conditions.Solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system is put forward and developed in this context.It is an effective way to solve the above problems. Solar liquid desiccant air conditioningsystem can make full use of solar energy and solution dehumidifying technologyadvantages, and can make up for the defects of a single technology. In view of its specialadvantages, more attention is being given to this system by scientific research workers andit has shown strong vitality.Around the subject of the solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system, this paper isexpanded from mainly the following several aspects:(1) Theory study——by researching the relevant theory—subject, the paper analyzesthe various solar energy refrigeration principle forms, compares the advantages anddisadvantages of several common dehumidification ways and their application scopes. it isconcluded that the liquid desiccant type refrigeration is more adapted to the solarrefrigeration, an ideal independent control way for the humidity, and can also achieve thepurpose of efficient energy storage.(2) The new system design——based on the summary and reference from the formerresearchers, this paper desigins a new process of the system, puts forward a new rotationalcollection hot regeneration system and a leaded cold air cooling dehumidification systemtype. The former can ensure the mass transfer direction, minish environmental disturbance,and improve the system stability; The latter can reduce the system equipment, morereasonable use energy.(3) Numerical simulation of new system——It establishs numerical study of the mainparts of the system mathematical model, using LICI solution for circulation medium, andcarries on the simulation analysis and the performance evaluation. The paper mainly studiesthe following aspects: the control of supply moisture content, the influence of regenerationperformance as functions of the radiation intensity of solar energy and the system energy storage characteristics.(4) System applicability analyzing for the region——taking the hot summer and coldwinter zone HeFei city as the research object, by using statistical analysis of typicalmeteorological data in HeFei district, the paper draws some conclusions. This area of solarenergy resources have certain use value; Independent control is needed for temperature andhumidity of conditioned air; Fresh air treatment based on mainly dehumidfying needs towaste a lot of energy; So liquid desiccant air conditioning system has very large applicationprospect in the area using solar energy.
