With the development of the society, the number of the buildings using thecentral air-conditioning system is increasing, and the energy consumption is alsoincreasing. It is of strategic significance for improving energy efficiency andimplementing green buildings to reduce the energy consumption of the centralair-conditioning system effectively.It is the most effective way for reducing the energy consumption to controlreasonably the central air-conditioning system in meeting the requirements of comfort.Now for the reason of the operation consumption of the central air-conditioningsystem is lower than the traditional constant volume control mode,“the differentialtemperature control method” and “the differential pressure control method” arewidely used in the variable volume control mode. However, the effect of the practicalapplication shows that there are many obvious deficiencies for the comfort and theenergy-saving effect in the above variable volume control mode. Because it is difficultto collect the information of the users and the terminal equipment, these controlmodes are still according to the concentrated effect of user load. The actual situationof users load change cannot be well reflected, and the comfort cannot be ensured forall users. It is restricted to reduce the operation consumption of the chilled watersystem further with these modes. Therefore, in order to enhance further theenergy-saving effect, it is necessary to study the new control mode.The paper is based on understanding of deficiencies on the current control modeand development of network control technology. Using the information of theterminal users directly instead of the concentrated effect of user load, the terminalusers load demand is used as adjustment target. According to the current load of theterminal users, the improved dynamic cubic exponential smoothing mode is used toforecast the load of the terminal users in next period of time, and based on loadcalculation mode of the terminal equipment of the central air-conditioning. Variablevolume control strategy of the central air-conditioning is completed based on thedynamic load forecasting, and a new variable volume control strategy is provided.With the control strategy, we can realize the purpose of the load of water chillersadjusted according to the terminal users load demand, and the operation consumption of the central air-conditioning system will be further reduced.
