At present, as the best way to improve the safety of buildings, the isolation technologyhas won the approval by more and more people in the world. However, in the rarelyearthquake, the isolated buildings maybe suffer destruction because of all sorts of reasons,therefore, it is particularly important to research the vulnerability and reliability of theisolated buildings. Because the data of the isolated buildings which have suffered theearthquakes is very poor, the same as the data of the isolated buildings which have beendamaged in the earthquakes. Consequently, it is the best choice to use the calculation analysismethod for the isolated buildings seismic vulnerability curve. In the basis of researchachievements from the domestic and foreign scholars, aim at common reinforced concretestructures, we have done much research on the seismic vulnerability and seismic reliabilitysafety evaluation of the base-isolated buildings. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Generation of earthquake-structure samples. Through the Monte Carlo simulationmethod to establish the samples, selects some representative value, so that every structuresample and a seismic time-history samples corresponding to, mainly consider the structure ofthe elastic modulus, yield strength, yield stiffness ratio and the four earthquake parameters,using Monte Carlo simulation method the ground acceleration process and structure modelmatching constitute80seismic structure sample.(2) Probabilistic seismic demand analysis of reinforced concrete frame base-isolatedstructure. In the generation of ground motion and structure based on samples, using MonteCarlo simulation method, statistical methods such as regression analysis, the structure of the80random samples for time-history analysis of structures is established, the top displacement,maximum interstory drift of isolation layer and top displacement and earthquake groundmotion acceleration peak value of the relationship between.(3) Seismic vulnerability analysis of the isolated buildings. Is introduced to obtain theseismic fragility curves method, in overall introduction on isolation system vulnerabilityanalysis method based on nonlinear seismic response analysis, structure, fitting out ofstructural response and seismic relation formula; through the definition of damage state, collecting information or the use of norms are probabilistic seismic capacity parameter; theisolation structure seismic fragility analysis.(4) Seismic reliability analysis of the isolated buildings. In isolation structure seismicfragility curves on the basis, the reliability analysis, and isolation structure reliabilityanalysis.
