Along with the development of urbanization in our country, the use of ground space metbottleneck, underground space becomes the new trend of development of urbanization."Onecity on the ground and one city under the ground ", will be the main direction of future urbandevelopment.This dissertation focused on how to realize the "One city under the ground" and discussedinterconnected technology for the development and utilization of urban underground space.Mainly through the tunnel connecting project between a square with a underground mall ofone building and in and out of one subway station in Guangzhou, from the angle of design,construction and the three dimensional numerical simulation, this dissertation emphasized thedesign and construction of supporting of open-cut foundation pit and shallow tunnel ofcovered excavation. And further more, it established a proper3D finite element model for theanalysis of shallow tunnel of covered excavation. The main works of this dissertation are asfollows:(1)Based on the conclusion of connecting tunnel of adjacent engineering home and abroad,according to the concrete strata and geological condition, the groundwater, the surroundingenvironment, the distribution of underground pipelines and the existing problems forconnecting tunnel of this project, after contrasting and choosing the various schemes, itdetermined the final interconnected scheme of the underground structures.(2) According to the final connecting scheme, it researched the supporting scheme offoundation pit in open-dig section and tunnel scheme of shallow excavation in coveredexcavation section, discussed the measures of constructions with the method of open dig andcovered excavation.(3)Considering the contact action between soil and lining, taking the constitutive relationof Mohr-Coulomb, choosing four control points of the ground settlement, the settlement of the topof tunnel, the uplift of the bottom of tunnel and the horizontal displacement of the tunnel, it usedsoftware “MIDAS/GTS” to establish3D finite element model for analyzing the deformation characteristics of stratum and the regularity of settlement because of excavating.(4)By changing the buried depth of the tunnel, the length of excavation, the stiffness ofsoil of the model parameters, it analyzed the influence of various buried depths of tunnel,various length of excavation and various stiffness of soil on the interconnection ofunderground space.
