| High power LED especially the integrated high power LED are used in the light more frequently, as luminous device, it has character of high luminous efficiency, long service life and so on. However, because the requirement of temperature for LED chip is very strict, how to dissipate heat effectively is the key point to the development of LED, the traditionary radiator has its own limitations because of the high weight and low efficiency.Based on the design of radiator, the article invent a new heat pipe radiator which bring with the technology of heat pipe and traditionary radiator., and optimize the fins in the heat pipe Its main work includes Its main work includes the following item:1. According to the research of the heat pipe’s configuration, analysing the process of dissipating heat to the heat pipe, the article put forward a new technique that using the simple heat conduction instead of the complex heat exchange for the heat pipe, take the segmented equivalent thermal conductivity to define the effects of the heat exchange for various parts of heat pipe, which can simplifies the numerical calculation to heat pipe radiator greatly, and provides a theoretical basis for the numerical optimization of the radiator.2. On the basis of the original radiator, optimize the configuration of the radiator, put the fins to the cooling part in order to increase the heat exchange area, improve the capacity of the exchange heat, take the orthogonal optimization to the fins, analyse the the effects of heat exchange for various dimensions of the parts and get some better optimization results finally.3. Test the samples, the results show that the simplified model can represent the process of the heat exchange accurately. According to temperature measurement for the point in the radiator, the results indicate that the optimized radiator are lighter and better effects of heat exchange, achieve the purpose of optimization. |
