With the development of science and technology,target simulation system is widely used in the calibration and detection of optical system.But the traditional target simulation system is limited to a single infinite target simulation or finite target simulation,so there could be much inconvenience when detection need the target which may be any distance.In this paper,we design a double light path target simulation device(1meter),it uses a parallel light pipe as the core, overcomes the single defect of traditional target simulation system and achieves objective that combines finite and infinite target simulation in the same system. After the Demonstration of the whole plan of the system,according the requirements we design a parallel light pipe which focal length is1000mm, angle is2W=2°and aperture is120mm,and when finishing the processing and assembly, optical parameters of parallel light pipe can meet the requirement which compared the results of ZEMAX optimization.After the whole process is completed, this paper does a alignment for system using long focal proofreading the short focal method,using a five prism method to do the repeated verification,and the precision has reached the design requirement.Also after the processing and assembly,the system is put into the practical application of the optical system performance parameter testing, and the infinite target simulation is successful in the routine testing,also the any distance target simulation is successful in the zoom system detection, reach the original design purpose which can do the simulation flexible and convenient for both infinite and finite target.
