With the development of the composite beam structure in China, the research focus of the composite structure is gradually transferred from the research of basic components about composite beams and composite columns to the test and theoretical analysis of the composite frame system. However, of the mechanical properties of steel-concrete composite joints which composed of composite beams and steel columns and its non-linear performance under load, current study does not have enough in-depth and comprehensive yet.In this paper, the initial rotational stiffness, ultimate moment, rotation capacity, moment-rotation model, restoring force model of the semi-rigid steel-composite beam joint was analyzed and discussed, it is helpful for practical engineering applications. Discussd the advantages and disadvantages of the moment-rotation model, proposed a few simple and accurate polynomial model, power function model and exponential function model. The ultimate moment formula of composite joint with different location of neutral axis was introduced. The initial rotational stiffness of composite joint should considered the slip between steel beam and concrete slab. The calculation of rotation capacity of composite joint shoul considered the deformation of higher stiffness components. For accurater restoring force model of composite joints, more higher cyclic loading test of composite joints ought to be carried out.
