With the growth of electricity demand and expansion of the power grid scale in the globalenergy crisis. In order to improve the efficiency of power supply and reduce energy waste, toachieve effective monitoring and management of power quality has becomed more and moreimportant.The monitoring instruments of foreign advanced technology have high accuracy, but highprices. Not suitable for China’s national conditions. Domestic measuring instruments is singlefunction, large fluctuations of the environment and electricity, and can not be quickly and accuratelycapture the power information.This project is proposed an embedded electric power quality monitoring system which achivedby the microprocessor of the S3C2440A and three-phase power dedicated chip ATT7022B based onZigbee technology. Use the high-precision measurement of chip ATT7022B to collection the powerquality parameters of front-end voltage, current and phase and so on.Use the microprocessor ofS3C2440A build the core of the control panel to achvieve the acquisition of the data and output.Finally, the Zigbee technology for wireless networking be used for information aggregation andstorage.At first this paper discusses the the definition of power quality and the root cause of powerquality problems. Analysis of current domestic and international power quality monitoring devices,the power quality standards and improvement measures, power quality analysis gives sometheoretical analysis methods. Finally, the implementation of the power quality monitoring systemaccording to the needs of users. Hardware design including front-end analog data acquisition boardand the design of digital control panel. Front-end signal acquisition board was builded byATT7022B。Including: power supply module, signal sampling modules, calibration modules,communication modules; Digital control panel was builded by S3C2440A.Mainly contain theS3C2440A circuit, memory circuit, the SPI communications interface circuits, serial circuit, thenetwork interface circuit and so on. The wireless network achieved by Shun Zhou SZ02. Softwareused the embedded linux system as the core. Configuration and write the embedded linux operatingsystem interface driver. Completed the front-end data acquisition, storage and control software, andcomplete the preparation of the SPI communication interface driver. Finalization of the overallsystem hardware debugging and software debugging.The system runs stable, and meet the designrequirements.
