With the development of electronic technology and control theory, the field ofelectric vehicle drive control was gradually driven by DC motor into AC motordrive. With its simple structure, easy maintenance, and smaller features, AC motorhad been got more and more widely used in the field of electric vehicle drivecontrol.Response to the situation of electric vehicle drive control applications, thispaper designed and developed an AC motor controller based on the microcontrollerof Infineon. The controller used the indirect vector control in induction motor as amotor speed control strategy, and motor parameter identification based on leastsquares method. This controller can be applied to the actual electric vehicle drivecontrol systems.Through the analysis of mathematical model on the three coordinate systemsand coordinate transformation of the three-phase AC induction motor at first, thispaper outlined an algorithm principle of the induction motor indirect vector controltheory, and briefly introduced the principle of the SVPWM modulation. Then basedon the physical circuit of the induction motor model, this paper outlined analgorithm principle of parameter identification based on the inverter controlparameter and the least squares method. This paper simulated induction motorindirect vector control and the principle of parameter identification based on theleast squares method in MATLAB, simulation results showed that the entire systemis feasible in principle.For the realization of high reliability态strong durability and so on, whichelectric vehicle drive control need, the paper used high-performance controlmicrocontroller chip XE164FN of Infineon, analyzed the design of hardware andsoftware, as well as some anti-interference and protective measures.In order to verify the feasibility of the designed system, based on theMATLAB simulation, did the experimental development of on-board system forsoftware and hardware testing, debugging results showed that this system couldachieve high-performance and reliable control of asynchronous motor.
