| In this paper, properties of high-performance iron-mine-tailings cement-basedgrouting material (HICGM) and ordinary cement-based grouting material (OCGM)were studied. The following research work was carried out:(1) The optimized mix of HICGM was designed with water-cement ratio andiron mine tailings ratio (IMT ratio) as variables for workability. Three indicators(i.e. the initial value and30min retention of fluidity, the V-funnel flow time) wereused for evaluation of workability, and then the relationship between theworkability and the rheology was reflected with the relative spread value pandthe relative speed Rpof paste. The results showed that the mixture of ICGM-2andCGM-1had better performance than the other types of HICGM.(2) The rheological properties were studied for ICGM-2and CGM-1based ontest platform of the Contec Viscometer5. The results showed that the Herschel-Bulkleymodel was suitable for rheological constitutive relations of CGM-1and ICGM-2.(3) The basic mechanical properties of HICGM and CGM-1were studied, whereiron mine tailings ratios were variables of HICGM and the compressive strengthand flexural strength were the specific indicators. The variation of the strength hadbeen studied with age and IMT ratio, and the fitting equations were given for thestrength with the change of age.(4) Based on the different environments, durability of CGM-1and ICGM-2(i.e.Vertical expansion, resistance to low temperature and resistance to oil permeability)were studied. The results showed that durability of CGM-1and ICGM-2wassimilar and their mainly properties can meet requirement of codes.(5) Morphology, spectrum and phase of CGM-1and ICGM-2at different ages. The results showed that hydration process was similar for CGM-1and ICGM-2based on the tests, but iron mine tailings may be involved in the hydration processand new material was found for ICGM-2. |
