Steam power systems is one of the application forms of marine power plant. Steampower system is widely used for large ocean ships. The boiler is the main equipment ofmarine steam power system, it has been called the heart of the ship. Supercharged boiler unithas a good prospect due to its small size, light weight, good flexibility. The performance ofsupercharged boiler unit will affect the mobility of the ship power plant, and also affect theenergy supply demand, which depends on supercharged boiler. By now, there is still nosimulation model for research of the matching performance of supercharged boiler andturbocharged set in dynamic conditions. This thesis takes the a type of supercharged boiler as object of research based on the heattransfer and fluid mechanics principle. A simulation model for researching of the matchingperformance of supercharged boiler unit by JTopmeret and Fortran software. The accuracy ofmodel has been verified through comparison of the simulation value and the designed value.A step disturbance was made in the dynamic conditions in order to get the response curve ofsupercharged boiler unit, and the research on dynamic response of supercharged boiler unitaccompanied by the ship’s speed increase was also made. The change trend of the responsecurve adjust to the process mechanism and the basic law.The simulation model can be used for the further research on the marine steam powersystem fault simulation. It can be used for training the operators through perfecting the visualinterface and improving the model accuracy. The analysis of dynamic response curve cansupply the design and control principle of supercharged boiler unit theoretical basis.
