Power battery, with the lithium ion battery power for representative,has become the hot spot of the current development. Compared with the traditional fossil energy, power battery is reusable, renewable. It has high energy density, and has low pollution to the environment. It is the ideal form of future clean energy. We need to make an objective evaluation of the performance of the battery power, with gradual popularity of the battery power applications.Taking lithium ion battery power as an example, in analyzing the principle, characteristic and facing the problems related to the specific application, I designed and implemented a set of power battery cycle test system with high efficiency and energy saving. The system uses UPS as energy transfer. On the basis of classification of measurement and control system, using the controllable inverter based on the pulse width modulation phase shift technology, through the cycle measurement, in the case of energy saving, this test system can complete six basic measurements of the power batteryThis paper makes a detailed description of the battery power characteristics and related application technology. At the same time, it has a detailed description of the hardware and software design, using Texas lithium-ion battery,monitor and secondary protection IC ARM Cortex-M3core processor, and some other advanced technology. It gives corresponding results as well.
