With the continuous development of China’s transportation, underground works whetherthe number of scale are becoming increasingly large, with broad prospects for development inareas such as roads, railways and municipal. The reservoir tunnels is a kind of common tunnelunderground engineering, which the stability of surrounding rocks and construction safety andoperation safety is closely linked. In the tunnel design and construction of each stage, it can notonly be able make correct and timely on the stability of tunnel surrounding rock and the qualityof rock to make an accurate evaluation, but also can predict and forecast the tunnel constructionprocess of surrounding rock mass in hazardous areas. It provides the essential conditions for areasonable choice of economic tunnel excavation schemes, the retaining type of surroundingrock spray anchor support and the rapidly of safety construction. Therefore, It would have animportant practical and theoretical significance to research the construction of the tunnel andsurrounding rock stability. It has also been a hot issue of concerns to such problems. Especiallythe reservoir tunnel, which the influence of seepage water on the surrounding rock is a difficultproblem.In this paper, we will use the finite element program of ANSYS to respectively analysisthe Ⅳ level and Ⅴ level wall rock, which is in a different cover layer thickness,and using theup and down stairs method and the method of CRD method such two different excavationmethod to have the three-dimensional simulation analysis. In order to get the tunnelsurrounding rock stress and displacement distribution law. We also learned which methodwill make us to get better guarantee the stability of tunnel surrounding rock. The analysisresults showed that the deformation in the numerical simulation process, that the verticaldeformation of the reservoir tunnels are considerably much higher than the horizontaldirection. Therefore, in the process of construction and operation, we should be strengthenedsafety monitoring of the tunnel at the top and bottom of the reservoir. It provides an effectivebasis for the safe construction and the structural design by reasonable simulation of thereservoir tunnel excavation and support and the results of the analysis of the stress and thedisplacement field to determine the stability of surrounding rock. Besides, through a lot ofliterature, this paper also discusses the shallow across the reservoir tunnel constructiontechnology and the factors to affect the stability of surrounding rock, and will have a discusson tunnel anti bay water treatment technology, the tunnel against leakage control technology,easy to collapse the tunnel construction of the strata.
