With the rapid development of science and technology, many industries have a higher and higher demands of mechanical parts, equipment durability and service life. The rapid economic development, energy consumption is also growing. According to statistics from related departments car engine energy loss due to friction caused total loss of40to50percent. Therefore, extensive research of new technologies and new methods are being developed in order to reduce the energy loss of all walks of life. Usually reduce the friction loss of power machinery parts, mainly through the development of the lubricant, the contact surface of the grinding and surface plating coating method. Recently, many developed countries in order to reduce energy losses, improve the performance of the friction and reduce friction losses, extensive research and application of micro/nano tribology of surface graphics applications surface texture of the new technology.Tribology theory and applications will also from the macro into the micro, from static into dynamic, from qualitative to quantitative, become a field of comprehensive study of the line systemAbout1/3to1/2of the energy sources we used are wasted by friction, so new technology and methods are extensively studied to reduce the waste of energy sources. This project is a new study method that optimizes Nano/Micro-surface texture to control friction, improve machine performance, prolong the life of machine and decrease the waste of energy sources. This project studies the relationship between the geometry parameter of texture and the tribology response so as to optimize texture and control the friction. This study applies the photolithography printing engineering and Electrochemical etching to determine the principle and methods of Nano/Micro-surface pattern and through frition test obtain the regularity of friction property changing when the shape, size, depth and density of Nano/Micro-surface pattern geometry factors are under different pressure, velocity and lubricant condition. This project parses friction behavior of different Nano/Micro-surface design through adopting diversified advanced testing technology and analyzing methods. This research production provides the theory and experiment bases for developing of surface texturing technology in tribology field. The tribological experiment was carried out on the surface of crosshatch groove pattern with different angles using pin-on-disc lubricated by paraffin oil. This paper analyses the property of the surface of micro-crosshatch groove pattern with different angles using stribeck curve under different testing conditions and the behavior of the surface of micro-crosshatch groove pattern with different angles using friction coefficient curve under different load and sliding velocity. The result shows the best effect of anti-friction occurs when crosshatch groove pattern with the angle of135°and the friction behavior mainly is friction under mix and hydro dynamic lubricating.
