Research And Application Of Virtual Assembly Information Management Technology

With the development of the virtual reality technology, virtual assembly which isone of the important applications of virtual reality technology is also developingrapidly. It provides a new low-cost and efficient way to solve the problem of productassembly. The assembly information is the basis of the virtual assembly technology,which goes through the whole virtual assembly’s process and affects the quality andefficiency of the virtual assembly. The unified management of the assemblyinformation can promote the assembly information to transmit timely, effectively andsmoothly among the various aspects and meet the needs of all aspects. It is theguarantee of the virtual assembly. In this context, this paper developed a virtualassembly information management system and studied their key technologies.Firstly, through the analysis of system’s functional requirements, the paperdesigned the system’s overall structure and framework by object oriented method andintroduced the system’s workflow and key technology.On the basis of analyzing the assembly information of the virtual assemblysystem, a mixed assembly information model which was based on the hierarchicalstructure and included complete information and perfect structure was constructed. Itmet the requirements of completeness, integration and high efficiency. Meanwhile, inorder to meet the requirements of the database about the data management, theassembly information data model which was based on the relational data model wasconstructed.According to the assembly information model and the different information’ssource, the paper put forward three kinds of different way to acquire assemblyinformation, which based on the CAD system, the user’s input and intelligent planningof the assembly process and studied their key technologies. Then the management ofassembly information was come true by using database technology. According to theassembly information data model the information data table was established. Throughstoring, querying, modifying, deleting and inputting the assembly information, thedynamic management of assembly information was achieved.Finally, the software implementation of the system was completed and thespecific test sample was used to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the system.What’s more, it proved the correctness of the virtual assembly informationmanagement technology.
