Research On Cost Control In The Construction Phase Of The Ward Building Project Of People’s Hospital Of County C

At present, the development of the theory of project management and cost control methods becomes more sophisticated, and a lot of scientific methods and theories are gradually applied in practice. However, most of the construction engineering firms still use traditional methods that is led by target profit, pay attention to after-accounting for the traditional model, emphasize on cost targets only, and not give enough attention to new methods and new theory. Traditional cost control has many problems in the analysis of the cost control of construction projects, like being rough and out of date, using more empirical analysis, lack of credible quantitative analysis. In this context, construction projects must be cost control, innovation, form a set of effective cost control mode.The topics take the ward building construction project of People’s Hospital of C County as an example, choose the construction process which takes up more than90%of the total project cost,to carry on the study. This article is from the general contracting manager’s point of view, based on the actual data and the operation of projects, giving advices on effective cost control during construction budget stage, construction preparation stage, the project construction stage. The topics do research on actual project along the basic context of the project cost control, propose specific methods (based on value engineering and earned value method) in this project and t proposed project cost control measures and suggestions based on the actual situation and characteristics.This article analyzes in accordance with the construction phase of the work process gradually, first of all the WBS, resource requirements planning, project budgeting, and other tools and methods as a basis for cost control process, and describes in detail how to use value engineering to consider quality and cost. Then it uses ABC classification analyze the key targets and goals of cost control. Finally, it uses tracking and detection tools to analyze how to use the principles of earned value to control cost and schedule, in order to achieve the integrated management of quality, cost and schedule. This topic is hoped to inspire and help to improve the level of project cost control of construction enterprises.
