In recent years,with economic development, the basement which has super size has got more and more application in city construction.Under the force and the waterproof requirement, this type of project’s basement planceers not only belong to ultra-length structure but also belong to mass concrete structure. The planceer with crack often occur in actual engineering because of temperature stress. Therefore, backing failure, reinforcement corrosion, goundwater seepage and other issues result in reduced structural durability and seriously affect the use of the building features. These conditions must be strictly controlled. Thus, the large mass concrete basement floor area of the design and construction measures for research has a very important engineering significance.In this paper, Guangzhou Textile Expo Centre Project, discusses in detail theengineering design and construction process of the considered or applied to a variety ofmeasures.The main contents include the following aspects:1. How to choose varieties to reduce heat of hydration of cement. How to choose the thickness of aggregate, sand control to increase the rate of crack resistance of the concrete itself. How to control the incorporation of fly ash to reduce bothplayed the role of hydration heat of concrete, but will not affect the density of the concrete itself. Introduced a large volume of concrete mix design principles. Discusses in detail the reducing agent, expansive classification, the role of theory and application in thisproject, and highlight the expansive use of conditions, indicating the use of expansive unreasonable adverse effects.2.
