The consumption of building energy is about27.5%of the total energy consumption inChina. As the living standard upgrade, the proportion of building energy consumption wouldincrease further.The demand of building insulation and insulating quality is higher and higher in order tosave energy consumption and environment protection. Exterior wall is a key influence factorto energy-saving about construction. The20-35%energy consumption comes from exteriorwall in total energy consumption of whole building. Accordingly, it is significant to buildingenergy-saving as long as the modality of external wall insulation and new-type adiabator werestudied.This theses analyzed the climate specificity of hot summer and open winter inDongGuan and Pearl River Triangle Zone. And suggested adopting the insulation technicalmethod of “inner insulation of external wall”, then building energy-saving the standardrequired would be totally reached. Of gypsum has a small heat conductivity good fireresistance, slight shrink and it is not easy to desquamate. But also it is not easy to Heatconductivity desquamate. Moreover, it can adjust the temperature in a certain of range.However, gypsum is a kind of air-hardening plaster. Although gypsum is use for innerinsulation of external wall directly there are still too many technical problems need to besolved or improved. In this research, strength, transfer coefficient, setting time and heatconductivity of gypsum have modified by gypsum modifiers. Which make gypsum fulfill therequirements from usage, construction and building energy-saving.Meanwhile, a new methodto adjusted the dry density of gypsum hardenite by air entraining agent was experimented,thus it could reduce heat conductivity of gypsum hardenite. This new method has betterfeature than the traditional method which added polystyrene bead to adjust dry density ofgypsum hardenite.The technical indexes of the thermal insulation material base gypsum are as follows:dry density<300kg/m3, heat conductivity≤0.07w/m·k, compressive strength≥0.20Mpa,bondsplitting resistance≥50Kpa.And serve the needs of50%decrease in energy consumption in project contract.Research on those microstructure of the gypsum and its hydrated hardenite wereconducted by SEM, DSC,IR and XRD and so on. The thermal analysis curves andmicrostructure, IR and XRD patters from α-semi-hydrated gypsum, β-semi-hydrated gypsumand their hydrated hardenites were compared. The gypsum modifying agents did notparticipate in chemical reaction in the processes of mixture, stir, hydration, coagulation,hardening and desiccation. However, the compactness of gypsum crystal structure can beimprove by gypsum modifying agent,thereby increasing mechanical property of gypsumhardenite.
