At present, external prestressing is one of the effective ways in the bridge reinforcement, external prestressing change the stress state mainly through bonded reinforcement of structural, then bring it back to the original design or adapt to the new demands, so as to improve the bearing capacity level of structure. And it is more and more prominent by virtue of simple construction, reliable structure, low cost of strengthening, good desired effect in the application of bridge strengthening.The paper primarily studies the external prestressing reinforcement which adopting the GAC wire rope shear capacity technology. Based on actual datas of existing test of external prestressing concrete rectangular beams, do the experimental analysis of different factors on original beam parameters and shear span ratio. The study discusses the influence of the reinforcement ratio、stirrup ratio、shear span ratio of original beam and concrete strength grade on wire rope on the effect of external prestressing shear reinforcement and on the shear strength of reinforcement test beams. On this basis, take into account the design safety of existing bridge structure factor, so as to play a role for the application to actually bridge reinforcement in the future.Through system stress characteristics analysis of different factors in external prestressing shear reinforcement test beam and study on limiting load, deflection, stress increment of external prestressing reinforcement and stirrup of bonded reinforcement test beam, analyze the test results of reinforced concrete beams on the same factors with different level of reinforcement. From the results we can get that the paper fully reflects the reinforcement effect of parameters of the original beams and shear span ratio on external prestressing reinforcement of GAC, and force condition of test beams afterexternal prestressing reinforcement that meet the needs of reinforcement of bridge engineering. Shear capacity of wire rope technology is the ideal method for shear capacity reinforcement of old bridge, this reinforcement technology has significant research value on improving technical conditions of existing bridges, carrying capacity, durability of structure, extending the lifetime of the structure.
