Modern engineering structures due to the development of materials science and designconcepts, often more and more inclined to use the thin-walled structures made of highstrength material, to give full play to the properties of the materials. In practical engineeringapplication, the welder-shaped steel beam width in the design process is often designed thin.High and thin, it will make part of the board to deviate from the original occurrence of bitshaped waveform Curved beam web strength before the destruction and overall instability,local buckling. Considering the buckling strength is bound to the overall stability of thecomponents to have some effect, then the beam bearing capacity of the overall stability ofhow to calculate the fresh description of the relevant papers. In this paper, under the premiseof considering the the welder shaped cross section of steel plate beam initial imperfectionsand residual stresses obtained by ANSYS analysis of the web buckling on the the joist overallstability of the law. Theory and ANSYS analysis confirmed the the joist consider the bucklingstrength of rationality. To flange thickness ratio of web thickness ratio and beam cross-heightratio as a parameter, a sample calculation, a clear overall stability of the bearing capacity ofthe joist web buckling will have a negative impact, and finally through the test verified. Thisconclusion can be steel beam design to provide a reference for designers.
