Research On The Evolution Of Urban Spatial Structure Of Xiaoyi City In ShanXi Province Since1960

As an important aspect of urban studies,urban planning,urban geography,and other disciplines has been paying attention to the research of urban spatial structure.XiaoYi is a new industrial city,containing coal, coke, aluminum, building materials as the pillar industry,and belongs to lvliang in Shanxi province.This article takes the Xiaoyi city of Shanxi province for example,and studys it’s evolution of urban space structure since1960.The purpose of this paper is to summary the basic characteristics and the influence factors of the evolution of urban spatial structure,to look for the power of the evolution of urban spatial structure and general rules,and to try to predict the development direction after describing and analysing the city space structure evolution of XiaoYi in Shanxi province since1960.The paper has six parts.The first part is related to the definition, and to make the object of study, the research methods and research significance clear.The second part is the theory,and the system on about the city space structure of the domestic and foreign relevant theory research.The third part reviews the development process of XiaoYi City in Shanxi Province,focus on the development of Xiaoyi city by analysing five parts:old stage,new town early,new city middle^ew town rapid development and the integration development gathering Xiaoyi,Jiexiu, fenyang and other cities.The fourth part summaries and evalues the urban space structure evolution,the development stage,evolution characteristics and its influence factors.The key of this part is analysing on many factors affecting city urban spatial evolution of Xiaoyi—natural geography,resources and environment,history and culture,Industrial economy,major facilities construction,traffic conditions,policy factors,city planning and regional urban pattern changes, etc.The fifth part points out that the general evolution law and special law of the urban spatial structure of Xiaoyi city through analysising the Xiaoyi city’s spatial structure evolution dynamic mechanism, and makes a judgment and some ideas on the trend of Xiaoyi city spatial structure evolution.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the whole article,which is summaring of the Xiaoyi city spatial structure evolution in Shanxi province.
