As a kind of clean fuel, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) has a high energy density and a low emission of pollutants. It has a very good development prospects as an automobile engine fuel. Nowadays, The domestic LPG fuel often used in the finished car modification, and domestic scholars have conducted research for dual-fuel vehicles, while the research and development of dedicated LPG fuel engine still have this blank. The purpose of this paper is to develop a dedicated LPG fuel engine supply system, which is an important work of designing high performance LPG engine.First, the physical and chemical properties of the LPG fuel, pursuant to which the LPG fuel as the vehicle engine fuel requirements, and a detailed analysis with the characteristics of LPG fuel as engine fuel. LPG fuel combustion and flame propagation, and analysis of the factors of temperature, pressure, reactant concentration of LPG fuel combustion, and by calculating the proof of LPG gaseous jet is most beneficial to improve the performance of the engine; paper also analyzes the LPG fuel, gaseous jet conditions, pointing out that the jet factors should be considered, and provides a theoretical basis for the design of the LPG fuel supply system.In this paper design and development of an LPG fuel supply system, key components of performance testing platform selection matching tests on existing and related components at home and abroad, and be able to verify the performance of components in the optimal matching of the design. Design a complete test program. LPG supply parts to match the design on the basis of a large number of matching test results. The existing supply of parts for domestic and foreign markets, test selection, and then select the better parts, according to the actual situation of the engine has been optimized, the final design of a high-performance, highly targeted LPG fuel supply system.In this paper, the fluid within the engine intake manifold domain simulation analysis simulation LPG gas is injected into the inlet and the inlet air mixture flow, and confirmed the feasibility of this design of the LPG supply system. For the different position of the jet and the jet angle simulation and detailed analysis from the perspective of pressure, fluid velocity, fluid microstructure of the two fluids mix, etc., and ultimately determine the median jet and coaxial jets most favorable to the engine air intake performance. At the same time, on the basis of simulation analysis conclusions, in order to make the engine intake manifold to match with other LPG supply parts and improve the performance of the engine intake, fixed to the nozzle on the intake manifold, Jet Road rounded corners and common rail jet valve fixed bits of the structural optimization.This article conducts many engine bench and vehicle testing of the designed LPG, when finished the match the design of the LPG engine supply system, to prove the engine supply system is stable, good performance, engine power, economy and emission targets than the fuel gasoline have significantly improved.
