The Brushless DC motor has become the major power of the industrial automation production for its unique characteristics.At the same time if the working of the brushless motor is broken, it will cause serious damages to motor and economic losses.Therefore, it is particularly important to monitor the operating status of the brushless DC motor. At this time, it is necessary to establish an monitoring system to monitor the brushless motor, so as not to cause huge economic losses. This paper, we will design the monitoring system based on embedded technology. The main content as follows:In this thesis, the monitoring system of brushless DC motor is based on the Android operating system. The system is divided into hardware design of embedded control center and software control design of the system. In the first part, the hardware design of the system uses a Samsung S3C6410for embedded processors, take the Android operating system to build system software platform. The GSM communication module, bluetooth module and Ethernet chips constitute wired and wireless communication ways between the operating system and brushless motor drive. Temperature sensor and CMOS camera is responsible for collecting the temperature and image of the operating system environment, and feedback it to the client software through control center. In the second part, the software of system contains PC client software and the Android mobile phone client software. The PC client software combines Web server technology and dynamic web technology, and finally it realizes to control the monitoring object.Android phone client software using the Android application, the Java programming to build the client control interface.Finally, through debugging both client softwares are able to work well and accurately feedback the status of the object to monitor operation.Through separate and unity debugging for the hardware and software system, the Embedded control center work normal and stable.With the wire and wireless peripheral modules it can communicate data with the Brushless DC motor accurately. By monitoring the temperature and the running speed and the real-time image data, the system finally can accurately realize the function of monitoring.
