Safety and intellectualization are two main themes of Automobile. In order to meet the two main themes the starting for manual precursors car is studied, especially research on control of hill start Assist, to look forward to improving the security as well as intelligent operation for car hill-start.With the analysis of slope-slip probability for hill-start for manual transmission car with traditional manual parking brake, research on hill-start for manual transmission car is needed. And through the analysis for the present research status of the domestic and foreign hill-start control method and hill-start assisting products, domestic research on hill-start is fallen behind foreign countries. The automotive professional bench test is also introduced, and then the present research status of the domestic and foreign car brake test rig is analyzed which propose the necessity of designing professional simulated test bed for automotive hill-start.In this paper manual car is studied. With mechanical analysis of car starting process, the relation among external force suffered by car is obtained. Through the analysis for the identification method for initial starting resistance, calculation method for the starting resistance is provided. Through dynamics analysis for car starting, dynamics equation is provided which provide scientific basis for dynamic analysis of car starting. Through the analysis for engine characteristics, diaphragm spring clutch and brake performance characteristics, simulation model for car stating is established in Simulink. Then through simulation the influence factors for vehicle hill-start control and the results of dynamic simulation are obtained. Finally the imitation test bench for car starting is designed which is helpful for design of hill-start controller, including designing hydraulic driving and loading system and establishing the AMESim simulation model for hydraulic driving and loading system. With the analysis of simulation results for different torque control method, the better torque control method is obtained.
