Throughout the domestic research on nuclear emergency rescue, researcher Wang Tianyun,who put forward in1994the peeled-up coating pressing and decontaminated technology on the basis of the latest research fundings on polymer suppress and stripping decontamination technique, in which spraying car and recovery car were included as main equipment. The paper firstly introduced the structures and functions of two operational cars, and on that basis collected and analyzed common fault type of the cars. Then on the basis of virtual instrument and fault diagnosis technology, it detailed the developing process of software and hardware of the fault diagnosis instrument.As to the hardware, there were initially two sets of design schemes and hardware models. After analysis and comparison, the MT4404touch screen from Buke company in Shenzhen was chosen as developing platform. Besides, due to the structural differences between spraying car and recovery car, with the former more complicated thus part of parameter not transmitted directly to the car controlling system, the data from car and instrument weren’t complete.In order to inspect the running state of spraying car more accurately, the project independently wired the sensors on spraying car without changing the original hardware system, and collected parameter form sensors by means of USB7660acquisition card. Then the parameter, after signal disposal, amplification and A/D conversion, turned into digital signal that was recognizable for computer and was processable by using virtual instrument. The paper introduced temperature and pressure detection system of spraying,and using Lab VIEW software develop data detection platfore of spraying vehicle temperature and pressure sensor. In order to verify the reliability of the data detection platform,and do a test with a certain type of lathe temperature sensor sinal by PCI-6225acquisition card,the result show that temperature system design is reliable.As to the software part, the paper presented the software system of fault diagnosis instrument, including design of man-machine interface and fault diagnosis program. Configurating software EV5000was adopted to design man-machine interface, while macro-instructional programming was used in fault diagnosis program. Macro instruction is a kind of advanced touch screen controlling method, which makes touch screen more powerful and enables touch screen to function with the same logic and arithmetic as PLC does. After the completion of fault diagnosis programming, it should be debugged on computer, testing every function button related to a macro-instructional program, and be applied to operational car for diagnostic tests when all the program module are correct.At present, the paper has already completed most of the diagonsitc apparatus of the design work,the next step is to achieve the work of diagnostic equipment online fault detection and system improvement.In order to adapt to a more complex text diagnostic environment,Diagonstic equipment also need to perfect their expert knowledge system,combined expert systems and fuzzy neural network,Further improve the diagnostic instrument fault detection accuracy and comprehensiveness capacity.
